    i was having a playback problem and was told to update the firmware and the dvd rom driver. i updated the firware but how do i go about updating the dvd rom driver? thanks for any help you could give me.

    ps. i am trying to update the apex 703 if this helps you at all.

    i am sorry if this is in the wrong forum but it wasn't getting looked at in the hardware forum and i would really like a reply.

    the 703 does not use a dvd-rom drive as far as i know.

    single disc apex players use atapi dvd-rom drives, but the 3disc changer uses their own design i believe....thus, there would be no "dvd-rom" with firmware that you can update.
