  1. Hi,

    not a technical question:

    It's not easy to compare different MPEG-converting results (from the same AVI-image but with different templates, settings etc) for testing purposes if you have to look sequently to each converted MPEg in some mediaplayer. I would be much easier if you could watch some of the different conversions at the same time together (f.e. in cascade mode) on one screen. Is there a mediaplayer or tool that can do this?

    You could use something like Veagas Video or Premiere and open the clips in different timelines - Vegas has far greater capacity than Premiere.

    BUT

    in your Preview window it's gonna show the tracks superimposed over each other if you try to view them simultaneously.

    But

    it would let you quickly drag your preview line back and forth between the source files, rather than restarting a player to load up

    Are you saying you would like each movie on the screen at the same time ?

    If so you can do this with Windows Media player.

    The default maybe "Use the same player for each media file played" but you can change this in View > Options > Player > "Open new player for each media file played"
