help.3 disk svcd to 2 disk svcd

i need to put the spiderman 3 disk svcd to 2 disk svcd.my question is whats the best way to extract the audio from this file.i will be joining all 3 files back to 1 big file.i need the audio ripped from the mpeg so as i can load it back into tempgenc and rencode it back to 2 disks.can it be done with dvd2avi or is there a better method to extract the audio?

the same can also be done with starward episode 2 if you remove the end credits - easiest way to do it is using tmpeg.
