  1. Hey guys,
I recently installed the Nimo Codec Pack (http://www.divx-digest.com/software/nimo_pack.html). It's cool and all. But before I installed it I could play MPEG2 in Windows Media Player fine since I had both PowerDVD 4.0 and WinDVD installed. But now, with Nimo installed, my WMP lags and tries to download the codec for MPEG2 from the internet, and over a period of 20 secs it flashes with "Unable to download appropriate decompressor". Then finally when it's done trying to download it, it plays fine for some reason. I liked how it was before better when it didn't lag. I have tried uninstalling Nimo and reinstalling WinDVD and PowerDVD. But this didn't work. =(

    Anyone have any ideas?
    I'd appreciate it =)
    Thanks in advance!

  2. Hello,

i´m suffering from the same problem i think. WMP 7.1 and WinDVD are installed and everything was just fine. Could play MPEG2 with Media Player. After installing Nimo Codec Pack, most files doesn´t play any more within media player. Sometimes it just crashes or complains about missing registry keys. Uninstalling the codec pack and reinstalling WMP doesn´t help.
