  1. hi!

I now "managed" to burn a bin-file with FireBurner, but when I try to watch the VCD on TV there is no sound (volume: max.!). The picture is alright...

  2. a billion possibilities with a billion questions to be asked. I and others have no idea what you started with or what error checking you did on your own, which would assist "us" in helping you.....

I am assuming the source file, whatever that was, had sound. Was the mhz sound vcd format (cant remember the mhz for vcd off the top of my head right now) Can you double click on the dat file on the VCD on your computer and play it with sound on your computer?

  3. It was a *.bin-download and i burned it directly on CD (FireBurner, as I said). If watching it on Windows Media Player, there is Sound, but when I put the disc into my VCD-Discman, there´s no more sound! I link the Discman to the TV with a single black cable with yellow endlings - do I have to connect the Discman´s sound output to the TV separately? There is no hint in the manual...

I read this in the VCDEasy FAQ's which may/may not pertain to your situation. But with DVD standalones, if no sound, they suggest changing the audio output to analog instead of digital to correct no sound problems. I don't know what the setup is with your Discman, so this may be apples and oranges, but thought it was worth a shot!
