  1. hi:

    i'm using avisynth and CCE to encode dvd-compliant mpeg2. i tried to transcode some movies but i allways end up with the audio out of sync after remuxing with ifoedit.
    i checked all settings in cce, the timestamp is 00:00:00 and everything else seems correct too.

    anybody who knows what's goin on?

    You can't do that. To use the REMUX feature in IFOEdit, you must preserve the original GOP structure. CCE doesn't even have this structure to work with (because of frameserving), so a whole new GOP structure is created.

    You need to use ReMPEG2 to transcode your movie if you want to use the REMUX feature.

    how much quality diffrence do i have to expect between CCE multipass and rempeg at 4000 - 5000 kps ?
