HELP - Cannot rip Planet Of The Apes subtitles with DVD2SVCD

I'm trying to rip 'Planet of the Apes' (2001) with DVD2SVCD (build 3), and the ripping step crashes if I try to include subtitles! I've tried both 'Internal Routines' and 'vStrip' but both crash, program just shuts itself down and there's no error listed in the text log. If I uncheck 'Rip Subtitles', then it rips just fine.

Any ideas? I have never seen this happen before.

Thats it... then it just shuts itself down.


A couple of times, I saw a message "Access violation at address 0048FE16 in module 'DVD2SVCD.exe'. Read of address 159ED8E9" but this was like 2 out of 10 attemps.
