    Hello, I'm running Intervideo windvd (which came with my system) on my Compaq laptop. SUPPOSEDLY it can take capture images, and my friend who has the same program it works fine on the same dvds.

    I can capture images from my VCDs no problem, but whenever I try DVDs, it just doesn't save. Any help would be great.

    Im not 100% sure but it might be the encryption on your DVD's, I dont know whether that helps!
