I would like to add certain files to a video DVD-R. More specifically, a folder with photoshop files used to author the disk, may I need them someday in the future. Storing all stuff on my HD gets sort of bulky, so I would like to just create a folder to shove the files in. My Q is: will additional folder confuse some players or they will simply ignore it? Thanks.

If it ain't digital, it ain't real -
I have included an 'EXTRA' folder with software in it on a DVD-R. My Pioneer 343 didn't have any problem reading the DVD later. I've seen commercial DVDs with games and other PC-oriented extras that include folders other than VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS.
I'm converting old home videos and wanted to include editing software on the DVDs for future conversion to whatever formats may exist many years from now. I'm betting on a PC being available somehow.
