    Is there anyway to pause and resume encoding with TMPGenc?

    Not explicitly, but if you select Help->About the encoder will pause until you close the dialog box, freeing your CPU for other tasks.

    You can also just hit stop, but don't do anything when it asks if you REALLY want to abort. When you are ready to resume, just answer no.
