  6. The answer on what happened to centropy depends on who you talk to. Some will say that they are internal now, no longer releasing their rips to the public, others will say their supplier is no longer. Who knows what happened to them, there are other groups that are putting out great rips anyways.
Now to mol3000, is there a website where you can download centropy movies from or a irc channel?? Thats not the way the scene works. A ripping group doesnt have a specific place for joe blow to download their things from. Thats not the way things get spread around.

  9. Centropy has stopped releasing to the public.
There are some existing Internal releases floating around but most people will Never find them because these types of media files are served off of an underground FTP server.

If the people who get them first off of the FTP- IE known bots or friends, have been told to stop publically distributing, then there will never be seen, another ctp release on mIRC again.

However, since it would be so hard to gain the rights to their supplier's ftp server, let me suggest others that will bring this hobby back into play.

Let's look at the facts and compare-
CTP used the best quality right before they quick and went internal due to the fact that the Cam res's were 480x480 by default standard sizes.

I have a contacter in AIM that I had suggested them to do this a LONG time ago. He had told ctp about it and they turned me down because they thought the quality would be the same as vcd.
What they weren't thinking about is if the res was upped to 480x480, you would have more crispness involved in the picture and better clarity of quality of far away scenes in the picture.

I do not know if they started encoding to svcd because of what I ahd said but no longer than 1 and a half months later, they started it.

Vigilante is a good group to watch. They represent 480x480 and there quality is excellent for the source.
It would not surprise me if vgl is ctp.

Anyways, uTi is only 352x240\288 but there quality is by far superb. Some of there rls have hallow audio quality but the video is excellent.

I think TEG ripped off ctps 480x480 cam rls because I noticed they started doing screeners in svcd res. That is beyond all retarded to me.

You can change what res you want to use your cam to record but vhs tapes are all vcd resolutions.

FTF has been cracked on for ages now but here recently, with exception of last rls, they must have upgraded their technology with a better cam. They were losing their rep for a long time but they are gradually coming back.

FTF has always been known for their fast rls but when u mix fast with quality, you get the best rep in the scene.
