  1. Im using the guide thats tell you how to convert from divx to svcd using cce , that posted on this site .The problem is with the frame serving , cce will not accept the .vdr file no matter what i try. I did install the avihandler with virtualdub and i did a restart after .but cce still refuses to accept the damn file. It just says this is not an avi file and does not accept it . Is there anything else I can do to make cce , accept the file ,so that i can continue the encoding process. thanks in advance.

  2. Make sure you've run the reg file proxyon.reg and change the vdr extension to avi

what are you doing in VDub? it may be just as easy, and would definitely be faster to use AviSynth. which version of VDub are you using? 1.4.10 has problems frameserving--use 1.4.9
what are you askin' me for...
    I'm an idiot!

CCE SP 2.6x does not accept VirtualDub signpost files.
Use ccesp 2.50 instead although this version is even more buggy
If you want to frameserve with VD1_4_10 to ccesp250, make sure, you have copied msvcr70.dll to the system directory, otherwise use an earlier version. If you do not have a copy of ccesp250, you can convert the *.vdr with VFAPIconv to a "pseudo" avi and open that in ccesp26x. Have a look at one of the frameserve guides. And for heavens sake leave the proxy mode alone.
