    What a rude guy.

Specify exactly what is allowed and what is not allowed first instead of deleting what doesn't suit your personal preferences.

You are almost paranoid in bashing anything related to DVD+RW.

  5. How about showing some common internet curtesy??

It should be obvious to anyone with half a brain that multiple 100Kbyte plus images should not be posted on a public forum. You've provided the link. Posting lame large images that don't even show any useful information is completely unnecessary.

If you do this one more time (post multiple large images on a thread), I will request to have Baldrick to ban you.

    Regards.

    Answer again.

Specify exactly what is allowed and what is not allowed first instead of deleting what doesn't suit your personal preferences.

Tell everyone the exact size and number of files before deleting.

BTW, I edited the above posts to include those links again.

  7. Again, use some common curtesy.

I wrote the number of images that were deleted (2 in one post and 1 in another -- though I see that you've deleted that). I am not going to take the effort of noting down the exact size of every picture. I look at one to see the size. If it is big (~100 kb) and doesn't show anything useful, then I'm going to delete it.

    Regards.

  8. OT...I know this is OT, but should be mentioned.

    vitualis,

You are not alone and I'm sure other vcdhelp members stand beside you on your actions taken in this thread. KennyShin was banned from the forums at dv-info.net for the same exact type of behavior (posting large, meaningless images and turning every discussion into a flame war - see: http://www.dvdplusrw.org/cgi/ikonboard/topic.cgi?forum=2&topic=1059&start=30) and looks like members at DVDplusRW.org are now even trying to expel him (see: http://www.dvdplusrw.org/cgi/ikonboard/topic.cgi?forum=3&topic=88&start=0). If you decide to ban him, I'm sure he won't be missed, as lately his posts have been mostly pointless and are pretty much troll fodder.

Kennyshin is a troll. I stopped feeding him, but there's an abundant source of nourishment in any forum for a troll with time and patience.

  11. Kusanagi,

Your posting behaviour is similar to Kenny's. You seem to be answering every post made by Kenny with a response to discredit him. According to your definition of a troll, this would make you a troll of a troll...

I wouldn't worry about DVD-R/-RW, since the DVD Multi format (which includes DVD-R/-RW/RAM) was just standardized and is supported by the DVD Forum. Actually, there is no tangible evidence that DVD+R/+RW will reach 50 million (drives?) by 2004 - especially now with DVD Multi entering the equation this fall.

If you would like to address my posting behavior, I'd suggest you do it with me privately - as your public comments defending Kenny's troll/flame-baiting topics and posts, both here and and at DVDplusRW.org (as I see here - http://www.dvdplusrw.org/cgi/ikonboard/topic.cgi?forum=3&topic=88) are just as bad as Kenny's plagued and problematic trolling behavior - thus, putting you in the same position that Kenny is in.

  13. My comment on your posting behaviour only meant that you had a tendency to reply to every comment made by KennyShin.

Although I have to admit that some of your statements that you make are offensive. For example:

I think most VCDHelp members and those intellectual lurkers know the truth since DVDplusRW.org has been exposed for its false information and slanted/bias advice.

Lots of people post both on dvdplusrw.org and on this website are offended by such comments.

I told you to PM me if you want to critique my posting habits - you are just as bad as Kenny, airing this out in the public (I, and I'm sure other VCDHelp members/moderators feel that this discussion is getting very tiresome)...

    Check your PM btw.

Yeah, it's relatively cheap I guess.

In South Korea and in Japan, Ricoh DVD+R/+RW drives have been cheaper than Pioneer DVD-R/-RW drives.

    Ricoh MP5125A: 550,000 Won
    Pioneer DVR-A04: 580,000 Won

In Japan, Ricoh a little under 35,000 Yen.

However, many people would like that 16x DVD-ROM reading speed and 24/10/40 CD-RW performance. It can do almost everything a 24/10/40 CD-RW can do.

Mitsumi will probably release a DVD+R/+RW drive with 20x CD-RW speed as well later this year.
