Hope this is the right place for this post.
We are setting up a PC home theatre system and can't seem to get the same quality picture on the projector as with the previous analogue system.
New system:
The monitor/projector is a XGA LCD with RGB (computer monitor) input.
We are using a ATI AIW Radeon capture card for input.
Computer is Athlon 2000XP w/ 1Gb DDR memory.
Pioneer DVL 909 laserdisc/dvd player.
Apex 5131 DVD player
Sony SVHS VCR.
Audio system is fine so I won't go into that.
Old System:
Same monitor/projector.
DVDO line doubler (RGB progressive scan output)
Same DVDs & VCR.
The picture output with analogue source to the DVDO line doubler is much clearer than output from the computer when the same analogue source is input to the ATI AIW card.
Does anyone have any experience with a similar setup? Is there a fix for this? Or is the ATI AIW card not a good one to use for this purpose?
Thanks for any help here eh.
