    What is the best way to resize divx files without losing quality.

    i.e. resizing a 850 meg divx file to fit on a 80 min cd (700megs)

    use Virtualdub. Select Video/Full processing and then Video/Compression. I recommend the Div 5.2 codec. Find what bitrate you need with a Divx bitrate calculator and configure the codec... Select File/Save as AVI, to recode your file....
