  1. I have several avis and SSA scripts that I'd like to burn onto DVD-R. However, I'd like the subs to be selectable. Is this possible? I know it's possible to create an SVCD w/ selectable subs and all, but what about DVD-R? These avis were captured from TV, so no bin, vob, etc. files.

Also, when I convert the avis to MPEG2, do I have to merge them into one file so I can burn them onto the DVD? Or can they be burned individually (i.e. drag and drop the files, etc.)?

    Thanks.

Yes it is possible...but I only know one authoring app that it works with, DVDMaestro but it costs $3434343. You basicly just convert the video to mpeg2, convert the ssa to dvdmaestro format with a converter and then in dvdmaestro you just drag the video and subtitles and author.

What about winsubmux? Could I try and add the subtitles as an "SVCD"?

  6. I see. I guess I'll just hardcode the subs then.

What about adding the multiple MPEGs onto one DVD?
