I have 40+ VCDs and I'm wondering. If I buy a DVD Writer, can i put VCD's on them. I mean DVDs hold 4.7 gb of stuff right and VCD's hold 800mb
So 4700mb divided by 800mb = 5.8
So c what I'm wondering is can I put 5 movies on 1 DVD at the same quality (no reencoding) and have them as 5 different chapters so I can put them in my DVD player and watch 1 of 5 movies.
I hope someone understands this, if so reply

Yes, you can, but there are a few problems.
First, the audio should be 48Khz and not 44.1Khz. This can be converted fairly easily. Then, you have to find an authoring software that will support mepg-1 and at the same time not convert the audio to PCM. -
You are looking at many, many, many hours of work. Most people that try this ony get about 2-3 movies at max (fair quality). Then you have to ver-come the problem of your movies being out of sync. Good Luck....
