I need help fast please

Hi i have a big problem, I just installed Nimo50Build7.exe to my computer and now Virtaldub seems not to work, I have also downloaded a movie in mpg format, but when i´m trying to open mpg with virtaldub i get this error: mpeg import filter: pack synchronization error, what it means and how can i open this file.?

The Nimo Codec pack contains a few hacked drivers that usually create warnings in Virtualdub, but they might also interfere with it too, not too sure though.

The Mpeg you have is probably Mpeg2, Virtualdub only plays Mpeg1, if the Nimo pack is installed correctly then the Mpeg2 will play In Windows Media Player, but Something like Power DVD is much better as it will tell you what it is, what resolution it is and what the Video and Audio bitrates are.
