    Well, I've followed the guides pretty closely and encoded the movie to SVCD format.. the only problem I've run into is that the final SVCD when played comes up all squished. I'm assuming it's the wrong aspect ratio but I set it to 16:4 everywhere I was suppose to. Anyone help me out to what my problem is? Thanks!

    if you actually mean 16:4...that could be your problem
    if you actually mean 16:9...that's another story, and you may need to resize before encoding, or if you're using TMPG, try setting video arrange method to full screen, keep aspect ratio.
