  1. I was wondering if I could put like 6 or 7 movies that are in svcd format onto one dvd-r and just skip through them to watch the movie I want, that way I can have a bunch of movies on one dvd-r that will play in my dvd player... Can you do this and if so how?

  2. Yes you can, but only if the movies are relatively small. A typical SVCD movie that is 90 mins or so will run about 1.6 gigs, so that equals 4.8 for 3 which is too big for a standard dvd disk. You can always re encode at a lower bit rate and then they will fit, but the quality will suffer.

  3. Well after I convert them to SVCD, or VCD format, how do I put them on a dvd-r? to watch on the dvd player... like what program do I use.

  4. I have been able to put three movies on one DVD-R with DVDiT, movies were 98 min, 96 min and 88 min, I used the TMPGEnc Templates that are available on www.kvcd.net. I have also been able to put two movies that were 2+ hrs each on one DVD-R. You must keep in mind that you only have 4.7 GB on the disk, so length in not as inportant as size of the files. All my files were in the SVCD format. I can not say this will work on your player or system I would only suggest you try the templates and information that is available on the site.
