I got a movie that has the audio only going to the left speaker and not the right.
how would i extract it and edit it to play from both speakers?

Try to do it in CoolEdit if you can get you hands on it! Should be a demo around.

Soundforge5 can do that easily; extract the .wav or .mp2 and open Channel converter/ mono to stereo and bingo!!
