hey,
after cutting my svcd with dvtool,
i burn the file and it is way out of sync in my standalone player. when i hit slo-mo then play again it syncs up for a second or two then goes back out again.
so i demux with tmpgenc and remux with bbmpeg using the standard svcd template....same problem.
the video is a bit choppy and the video is out of synch.
what are the best delay settings to use in bbmpeg, and where should i enter them.
thanks in advance

This isn't a delay problem. This is an authoring problem of some kind. You may have too high a bitrate for your player - that's the kind of thing that happens to standalones.
Delay settings have to be set based on what the difference between the video and audio is. The "best" setting is different every time depending on what your source is, but most often, the "best" setting is no delay at all between audio and video - it just depends how you got the audio.
Basically, you have to decide how many milliseconds out of sync the video is, and set up bbmpeg that way.
However, that won't solve your problem - I think you may need to reencode at a lower bitrate.
