I'm attempting to use the filters in virtualdub to avoid the long wait caused my tmpgenc and its filters. Where can i find the ideal settings in these filters since i've heard that too much or little of something can make the image worse. The image quality is a little less than half a dvd rip quality, so the filters are essential. I am assuming to use the sharpen, smoother, and motion blur filters. Would anybody with experience in this field care to make suggestions as to which filters should be applied, and at what settings?
