I'm trying to convert a .avi (divx4) but when I use TEMPEnc 1.2i I get as far as 48% and then it says something about floating point error. I then try it in Virtuadub and it says "can't read frame xxxxx" I then proceed to erase those frames and save the .avi again but Virtuadub only saves about 50% of the film with a similar error. Heeeelp please.

sounds like you got bad frames in the avi. you might try to delete the bad ones in virtualdub - but its probably a lost cause.

Hopefully I have solved it. I'm using VirtualDub 1.3c to cut it up into smaller .avi. Then I'll convert all the small clips to mpg and burn the VCD with different tracks.
