    this is supposed to be the easy bit, or it would be if it would stop crashing.
    every day for the last week i have being trying to rempeg vob files, and it has crashed every time on two computers. i have even tried doing one vob at a time, it will do a little vobs, but the bigger 1 gig vobs it won't.
    can i use any other encoder whilst keeping the 5.1 sound to do this job?

    I have the same problem. I don't use that program anymore.
    I have Windows XP and it crash every time with small and big files.

    nope, no problems with it here and I am using XP. don't know what version as I am not at home, but I just downloaded it a week ago so should be newest one.

    I have used it on 3 vob's so far and all 3 times it has completed successfully.
