hello, i just started ripping my dvds,, my own ofcoarse. i have all the needed programs, smartripper, flaskmpeg, nero, and tmpgenc... i am able to rip the entire dvd and i am able to open it and view the movie with sound in sync and everything,, looks great,, time started 2:05 pm now i am trying to get it from my hardrive to a dvdr <<i assume?? so i can watch it on my dvd player thats on top of my tv.., or on my computer dvd... i have tried and tried to burning using nero, but i only can get the audio. no video... everyting works up to starting nero.. so can someone tell me how to continue,,, i just need to know what boxes need to be checked? i dont want this to get too long so ill stop,, and yes i have tried every possible combination as i can think of as you can tell by the time as of right now.>>> 5:14am thanks for the help,,, time to sleep now...

Huh, have you tried to play your burned dvd in your computer? If not, do so and see if it works. Your dvd may not be compatible with you stand alone player. Which type of dvdr are you burning to? DVD-R(W) or DVD+R(W)? Just because it doens't play on your dvd player doesn't mean it wasn't burned correctly. Try it on a friends dvd player also
