I am continuing my quest to figure this stuff out. I downloaded TMPGEnc and some DivX drivers and actually converted some old AVI files to MPEG-1 (a 30 second clip took 55 minutes on this computer! DAMN!) This site has proven an invaluable resource. What card will allow me to capture both AVI and MPEG-1 for cheap?
