The answer depents on what parameters you have set when you burned the disk. If you have closed the Cd after burning, then you can add nothing.

  3. No,

from memory VCDEASY does DAO (disk at once) recording and
thus closes the disc preventing you from adding anything extra.

  4. What you can do is the following:

Before burning the movie on CD, use TMPGEnc to merge the movie with the piece you want to add....make it one movie and burn it on CD after that.
If you want to merge the two movies, go within TMPGEnc to FILES -> MPEG TOOLS -> MERGE & CUT section (don't forget to select VCD MPEG1 in the dropdown), add the two pieces and run it...
I dunno if you are able to add a file other than a mpg onto the VCD...

After the cd was written, you can't add anything
But if you'd like to add before burning,no need to merge the two .mpg files, simply drag them both and the vcd will have 2 chapters (or more,if you add more)

  6. also a possibility.....

but then i ask myself: can a standalone DVD-player read the two chapters separately??
If so, you got a beautiful solution!!!!

djvyrus, the standalone player can read a lot of chapters
I have a vcd with more than 8 chapters in it. The only anoying thing is that between each chapter change,it''ll pause for about 2 seconds (depending on the player) before it continues
