Hi,
I have a sony digital camcorder (minidv), a firewire card. I use Adobe Premiere to capture the video, at the beginning of first 100 frames, there is no frame dropping, but after that, there are about 1/3 frame dropping. So when I play back the captured video, it hears like stop and play, very annoying. I am wondering what is the problem with my capture process.
I have a machine of P3 500MHz with 256MB memory , a 40G WD 7200RPM Harddrive. A normal firewire card got from Compusa.
If the cpu is too slow, I will have to upgrad it to get my video out of the tape, cause I have lots of video after last month's vacation.
Thanks in advance!
