I searched aroudn the forum and didn't see a post pertaining to my problem so here goes:
I had a oversized dvd movie that I needed to transcode, so finding out all the proper information using dvd-r calc I found out the correct bitrate to lower the quality to to make it fit. So using ReMPEG2 I set the movie to 4200 bit/s, 720 x 480, match source, and set the other two encoding settings to the high slow encoding settings. So after 16 hours I took my new m2v file and fired up ifoedit. I opened the correct video ifo file and re-muxed it with my m2v transcoded file. After it did the job I copied all the rest of the files over to test my new movie quality, and I would have problems when watching in PowerDVD. In certain scenes, every 5-10 sec the video will freeze for about half a sec. It does this in both PowerDVD and Ifoedit's dvd player. But when I test just the m2v file by itself in Tmpgenc, it runs fine, no stuttering. So I'm figuring that something is going wrong with ifoedit with I re-mux, I just don't know what its doing wrong. I've selected all the correct settings and followed directions by guides i've found on both this site and Doom9. If somebody has some advice to give I'd would greatly appreciate it, as I'm willing to try anything. Thanks.

Update: I just tested the M2V file in PowerDVD, runs perfect. Does anyone know a good way to maybe extract the audio out of the vob files, then merge my m2v file with the audio into new vob files? I want to keep my menu and extras intact, so I can't rape everything.
