Hi
Downloaded Royal Tenenbaums DIVX approx size 700mb. Using the new tmpgenc 2.56 I used the wizard at the start and loaded in the standard NTSC template. I make no changes to it but the estimated file size is 3.5 GB!! I encoded 1% and it was 33MB. I have done a few conversions with previous versions of TMPGenc and a 700mb DIVX usually comes to about 1.5-2gb at the most. Surely this cant be right, can it?
Any help much appreciated.
Thanks
Richard

Which standard NTSC template? NTSC VCD? NTSC SVCD?
RTB is 109 minutes, and would run ~1090MB in VCD format. In SVCD it could vary, but might be as much as ~3GB at 2524/224 CBRAs Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war." -
