playstaion backups

hey, im having trouble making backups of my playstaion games. i have used Nero and CloneCD but without success, i have tried to alter the write speed as a friend suggested, but still no luck, i dont know what im doing wrong. when i burn them and put them in my sony all i get is the sony playstaion logo and thats it, its like it gets stuck on there or there is nothing left on the disc, but sometimes it takes half an hour to copy. my sony is chipped and my burner is a Goldstar (Aztec) CD-RW CED-8120B

Hmm..sounds strange. I copied all my games for a friend and thye work. Try this. On Nero select image recorder and make an image. Then burn the image. Hope this helps

haha I hope you have a mod chip...

if you do, try using ClonyXXL along with Clone cd. ClonyXXL is freeware and can be found on p2p programs or google.com. It determines copy protection and sets clone cd up so that it's optimized for whatever you're trying to burn. give that a try

rixy76 have you ever gotten a backup game to play? Your modchip may be installed incorrectly. Do original games play? If not your screwed, you probably fried the psx by using a soldering iron with too high a voltage.

yes, i do have a mod chip and it does work, i've tried and played alot of backup disc's, but it seems that i just can't make them , at this point of time hopefully!

Hey why don't you try it with DiskJuggler you can get it at www.padus.com . I had this kind of problem once because nero wouldn't make backups with my dc games but now i got over 300 psx games and and 200 dc games and just getting more everyday. Hope this helps! ___ImAgE0nE____

DJ is only useful for DC games as it is one of the few progs that can burn a DC-bootable CDR. You can burn non-bootable DC games with just about any software.

DJ also works for playstation games aghhhh. Nero works fine about 99% of the time but belive it or not folks Nero can't do everything Also try that cd-mate thing that they keep advertising in here i just got mine like 1 week ago and it works just fine. But I don't know why really all this playstation bootlegging is all about because its just too easy. Make sure your psx is chipped right or it just might be your lens because i've had my psx for a while but i had to get another one because when i used to get new burnt games it would skip sometimes if not play at all and i knew the games work so insteaad of getting a new lense i sold my old one and got a newer one. hope all this helps! But still psx is old burn ps2 games and xbox games thats my new hobbie along with japanese pc anime/ hentai games !!!
