We are using a DVD player (on a PC) to teach classes. The DVD is 2 hrs, but we use short segments in various classes.
I want to create a 'menu' type of interface to permit the start and end point of a DVD segment to play. This way a teacher would choose the class, the DVD would start in the correct point and end at the correct point.
We are running Windows XP and output is to a LCD projector. The DVD has no bookmarks or chapters.
Is it possible to do this? Thanks for your suggestions.

you could if you want to treat the short segments each as an indvidual movie and then set them as there own movie on the menu do it that weay, that way you play ( from the menu ) the lesson you want and it would only play that lesson. But this assumes you have the dvd rom to rip, the frameservg software, then re encode each lesson, author , and then burn back on a dvd-r / rw for playabck.
