I am interested in burning SHORT high quality video (mpeg2/DVD format) to CDROM's with my CD-burner. Is this possible? If so, what software could I purchase or freeware could I try to accomplish this? My reason for doing this is that I am unhappy with my current VCD video quality and I can't afford a DVD burner or the disks right now![]()

You can make a mini dvd but it will only play in a few stanalones.
The only brand of DVD player that I know of that fully supports mni dvd is Sampo. If you have a vob file all you need is IFOEDIT and Nero to burn it. IFOEDIT will create the DVD files from your vob.
Then burn with Nero as a UDF/ISO.
