  2. Can you offer any more specifics as to the resolution and bitrate of your source file?

Oh, codec and frame rate might also be informative.
As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."

  3. yeah, sorry.

used the tempgenc standard ntsc Film template here are the settings:
    Video-CD NTSC Film
    MPEG-1 352x240
    23.976fps
    CBR 1600kbps
    Layer-2 44100Hz 224kbps

  4. I re-encoded the film to the default bitrate and it seems to be within the 80 mins mark.

And here are the correct ones

    Video-CD NTSC (MPEG-1 352x240 29.97fps CBR 1150kbps, Layer-2 44100Hz 224kbps)

Dont let nero re-encode, it will make a mess.

  6. thanx king john but I had already encoded by the time I got your message. How come if the bitrate is bigger than the default rate, it makes the film in nero seem like its over 90min?
