The emphasis is on MPEG2 for DVD (not SVCD or VCD)

Please Comment on Quality of MPEG2 Coder, Time to encode 1min AVI ---> MPEG2 720x480 high quality
eg.
1:1.5 means for every 1 min of an AVI clip it takes 1.5 min. to encode to MPEG2

1:12.5 means for 1 min of an AVI clip it takes 12 1/2 minutes to encode.

1:1 means Real-time encoding.

What is the CPU speed you used for your test ( 800Mhz,1.3Ghz,2GHz ) ?
