I don"t seem to get my vcd playback smootly on my standalone player.
First i tried a svcd, but the player didn't recognize. So i went on with the guide to place a vcd-header on my svcd. The player recognized the disk and started the movie. Quality is perfect, but it freezes constantly.
So i exepted the fact that my player don't play scvd smootly. I made a real vcd, because my player has to be able to play those disks. However the same problem appears.
Am i using the wrong disks or did i do something wrong during converting?
The facts: Divx converted with tmpeg to CVD, burn with nero SVCD compliance off. didn't play
Next CVD simple multiplex with vcd-header, did play, but not smootly.
At last CVD to VCD. did play, but not smootly.

Does your player have a BRAND and a MODEL NUMBER?
As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."
