  1. I have two 45 minute mpeg files I want to combine on my hard drive, to make one larger ninety minutes mpeg1 file. I TMPGENC is was able to combine the 2 files, using the mpeg editor. However where the two files were combined, at the start of the second file, the audio wasn;t correct. Audio from the start of mpeg1 was at the merging beginning portion of mpeg2.

Anyway does anyone have any suggestions on how to properly merge files using tmpgenc. I also have panasonic mpeg encoder if this will work, I didn;t see a way to merge files with this though

Last, I would consider using a different program if it is freeware, or shareware to do this, Any suggestions. Thanks

You might want to try re-multiplexing the files, and then joing them then. THis may synch them back up.

  3. Hate to sound dumb, but I am a newbie after all. What is multiplexing, and where can I read up on it?

    Thanks
