  1. i have a .wmv file and want to put it on VCD. Supposedly TMPGEnc supports this file type but i was having trouble so i checked the guide here. It said to rename the file to .asf, but i don't know how to do that! Do i just ad a '.asf' to the end of the filename? or do i need to do something more complicated?

    plz help me out

    thx a lot!

Just right click on the file and choose "Rename".
Click at the end of the file name after the . and delete
the wmv and type in asf
If that doesn't work then you may need to run it thru Graphedit.
Do a search for the user name of "kenetik". There is a
great guide, step - by - step for using Graphedit.
Believe me I have had my share of troubles just recently
with asf's and wmv's. I can try to help you but I am sorta
new at this also. But, give what I said a try and if it doesn't work
then post again. I usually cannot answer until after 6pm EST
Mon-Fri. So please be patient and I will return.

    Goodluck.
