  1. Is there a way to enter chapter points other than using the shuttle bar?

You can use the L/R arrows to move the slider to be more accurate. Other than that it, I haven't found a way to do it.
    Annoying isn't it.

  4. If you find the scrub bar to be very sluggish trying to add chapters here's a quick tip.

Demultiplex the MPEG2 file to seperate audio and video files. Make sure the filenames before the file extension are the same. If your demux application produces an audio file with an MP2 extension simply change it to an MPA extension.

For example, you end up with two files called say:

    TRUELIES.M2V
    TRUELIES.MPA

Now load the video file in to SpruceUp and you will find it automatically loads the corresponding audio file. You should also find scrubbing through the file to add chapters is much quicker and more accurate too.

  5. Does TMPGEnc Demultiplex? What menu is the settings under? If not which program does?

  6. TMPGEnc will demultiplex but you are limited to 30 days usage for MPEG2 files unless you register. To be honest it's only $48 (around 30 UKPounds) which isn't bad.

  7. Actually should have said you will find the option under File ->MPEG Tools. You don't need to do anything fancy, just select Simple-Demultiplex.
