    twenty bucks after rebate buys the buslink 16x dvd-rom drive at worst buy today. does anybody have any experience with this drive? how fast can you rip dvds on it? how does it compare to the pioneer or lite-on 16x drives?

    That I don't know. My system that I ordered came with a Compaq 16x so I don't know from personal experience how fast the Bus-Link rips, but I am happy with the 24X burner I transfered from my old machine.

    hopefully i can test it out with my current system.
    i only have a p2-300 mhz with udma33.
