    Hi Guys
    Yet another sound problem(Just my luck)
    I've downloaded a movie this time Exit Wounds plays fine on mi pc, but when converted the sounds out of sync & gets worse as the film goes on. Ive tried twice but with no joy.

    Well if you scanned the movie for bad frames and found none, then I guess its not that. Your only option is to save out the sound uncompressed, then you can use this later with TMPGEnc to make the mpeg1

    Vidub
    Video > full processing mode
    Video > Conversion > 44.1Khz
    SAVE WAV

    TMPGEnc
    Browse Video > AVI
    Browse Audio > WAV
    Load VCD Template
    START

  4. another favourite cause of this kind of problem is framerate mismatch between the downloaded avi and the framerate of the final mpeg. For example, if the avi is PAL at 25fps and you use TmpGenc with the NTSC VCD template at 29.97 fps this is exactly what will happen. Check the framerate of your avi and use a template with a matching framerate to see if the problem goes away.
