    i just made a vcd using the Panasonic MPEG Encoder but when i play it on my dvd player. its worst than the original avi file. can someone please tell me the settings so my movies can be clear. thanks in advance.

    You're original avi file will always be better then your encoded movie, because you information is lost to make the file smaller.
