  1. I've ripped a dvd to vcd and now have 2 mpg's ready to burn to vcd but the aspect ratio is now wrong.
Can any one recommend any tools on how to change this with out too much fuss?

    any help would be appreciated.

I've got a feeling it could be bunnys!

  2. Best solution is to re-encode the original rip, this time with the correct aspect ratio. I am aware of no way of changing the aspect ratio short of re-encoding the mpeg file. In VCD the aspect ratio is a factor of how the encoding software resized the original source material during the encode process.

You cound re-encode the mpgs you have now and fix the aspect ratio, but you will take a small quality hit as encoding to mpg is a lossy encode.
