I would like to make my svcd to vcd. I know that there is a guide and I have already referred to it and downloaded the reccommended software. However, my svcd is already on a disk and I no longer have the mpeg2 file. Would it be easier to try and download the file again, or to try and follow the guide to convert?

    Thanks,

  2. You may not think you still have the MPEG-2 files, but dig into your SVCD and you'll see a folder called "MPEG-2". In that folder, there will be at least one file something like this:

    AVSEQnn.MPG

That's your MPEG-2 file (or there may be more than one if the was more than one used to author the SVCD). Copy it/them to your hard drive and get to work!

Here's more info on what all those folders are for:

As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."
