  1. Hi, a user called skittleson kindly gave me this piece of advice about the audio sync wandering towards the end of my encoded mpg file, but i dont use Virtuadub that much and arent sure what i have to do exactly. Can anyone help?

To make sure you have audio and video lock, you will have to use a capture program that will lock the video stream to the audio stream, like virtualdub. This way, if the speed of the video capture clock and audio capture clock is not running at the same speed, the video capture program will drop or add frames to keep it in sync with the audio stream.

  2. The default setting in Virtualdub is for the video clock to follow the audio clock. Of course, this will only work as long as you are not pushing the PC to 100%, where something has to go! For private e-mail, you can get me at skittelsen@yahoo.com
