Ok so when you use the Super VCD template the standard is 480x480 right. Well I take a .mov file from the web that is 16:9 widescreen and it maintains its ratio just fine as it has large black sections above and below.
BUT...
When I use an avi I exported from Premiere that is NTSC 704x480 even though the setting in config is fit to frame maintain aspect ratio my video isn't kept at a 1.46 ratio it is squished to a 1 ratio.
Am I doing anything wrong? I'm going to try the unlock.mcf file tonight and change the size to 704x480 but I don't think this is the way to do things.
