    Greetings,

I use AIW card and capture to AVI. Then I use TMPG to convert to VCD. All works well EXCEPT I notice that it always has a tiny bit of a rolling line at the bottom of the screen. It is as if the source Video tape was raised a hair and you see the edge of the tape roll by.

I know there is filter to get this out but not sure where I read about it or why it occurs. It is annoying !

Thanks for any and all help....Rob javascript:emoticon('')

  2. It's the video head switching points. The only way to remove it is to cover it by blanking the bottom lines (vdub). Since the bottom lines never shows on a TV set, it's normally not a problem.
