I just made a vcd using nero. I didn't do chapters or anything and I put it in my dvd player and is reads "no disk". My dvd player does support vcd's and I was flipping through the manual and it says that I must turn off PBC. However, it does not tell you how to turn that off. Anyway, for some reason I cannot get my vcd to work. Any suggestions?
Oh, and I have a cheap apex dvd player if that helps. Thanks.

Is it a super-cheap one, without a model number? If it had one, we could look it up in the manual (since we'd know which manual to grab), because I'd almost bet the farm that it tells you how to toggle the PBC.Originally Posted by demonomania13As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. Make sure your DVD player is capable of playing CD-R or CD-RW media. To test, try burning a regular audio CD on a CD-R or CD-RW. If it can't read that, then you won't be able to play VCDs on CD-R either.
