OK heres my problem:
I've made a DivX to VCD convertion, ( followed the how to on this site VCDHELP.COM ) and then I thought that I could play this "vcd-movie" on my PC, as well as on a standalone DVD-player.
( My PC do play ordinary bought DVD's )
On the CD I've burned there are the following folders / files:
One folder called : Ext
containing:
Lot_x.vcd 64KB
Psd_x.vcd 1KB
One folder called : Mpegav
containing:
Avseq01.dat 536.668KB
One folder called: Segment
This folder is empty
One folder called : Vcd
containing:
Entries.vcd 2KB
Info.vcd 2KB
Lot.vcd 64KB
Psd.vcd 1KB
Does this seems OK? Where did I go wrong.
Which type of file do a VCD player open?
Which type of file should I try to open with my WINdvd?
Will it play on a standalone DVD-player?
THX

Everything is ok. You need to open the *.DAT file in the MPEGAV folder with Windows Media Player if you want to play the VCD on your computer.
